Nav you drew a white tail tag for Matagorda Island? That's a very cool hunt. Keep an eye out for rattle bugs.. some big suckers on that island and they are active year round.

What type of bear grease did you use to ward off the hordes of skeeters? We actually got lucky with them. It took a cold front and 25mph winds but until this morning wjen I got down to gut a doe I hadn’t even seen one.. now the bit of time I spent in the brush out of the wind doing that was pretty rough lol
