Bought a pair of La Sportiva boots this year for a Colorado mule deer hunt. Absolutely no break in, most comfortable boots I’ve ever bought. Made in Boulder.

Visit Scheel's if you're coming for DSC. The store, not the booth. I doubt they'll have a bunch of boots at the booth.
== Edit == I have a pair of Hunter GTX and would buy them again. I bought mine online a couple years ago but don't recall where.

Those meet your criteria. Id also look/consider the Lapponias, as they are more flexible and all leather. with that said I dont think a 3 is very stiff. Summitt is 3 and Lapponia is a 2. I wish my briskdal mtn gtx where stiffer scheels has best return policy, but are usually priced at map. black ovis is co-owned by the distributor for Crispi NA . Might look at Black Ovis and its sister company camo fire

I just bought another pair of Crispis at Scheels and they were 20% off. I tried Crispi at first because it was the only boot I could find in 12.5 sizes but now have multiple pairs for different hunting scenarios. This last pair reasoning was I have only been getting uninsulated and last few years in Colorado it’s been -14to -18 degrees some days so broke down and bought insulated pair. I figured they will last me the rest of my life wearing them a a few days a year.

Just got something from meateater said 20% off crispi since the owner of the crisipi us distributor also owns part of Camo fire and black ovis, they are really good at MAP pricing and when they do a discount everyone gets to sale @ a discount
