Never mind the previous diatribe - I'm 110% supporter of Israel, but not a dam thing is being covered about the much more horrific civil war currently going on in Sudan. 'Same horrors, just a lot more of them. They're human too. The current news media should be ashamed. Bastards.

The Sudanese Christians have been persecuted for decades. Out of all the immigrants that apply for political asylum, those Sudanese should be at the top of the list for approval. The stories they can tell are devastating.

We sponsored a Sudanese group at church until they could get their own building. Nicest people you ever met. The stories they told were chilling.

If your feeling up to it you can become a combatant simply by showing up there or so I've heard.

Since they are not white and pretty like Ukrainians and the majority of the population is Muslim no one in the west gives a damn about the people of the Sudan.

Because I have a wife that is 21 weeks pregnant with a little girl and I doubt that I am up to the physical demands anymore. Last time I was there I was in marathon running shape.
