If there was a thing called military intelligents, they could let them serve, if the got covid they would have natural immunity and would still have the troops they need

Militaries have never been about individual rights. You learn to obey orders. The only order that doesn’t have to be obeyed is an illegal order.

I wouldn’t want to be sleeping in an open bay barracks, showering together, etc in a communal bathroom, called a head, with guys that could give me a transmittable disease that could have been avoided. And, in the military, you have to keep up with your shots.

Dumb post! Already been proven whether you have been jabbed or not, you can still get it and give it. Makes no difference how many times you are boosted…you can still get and transmit the virus. SMH

Sounds like 2000 men and women were able to think for themselves. Just because the mighty military tells you to do something doesn't make it right.

It seems that 8000 people were forced out, and they’ve invited 2000 back. I wonder if the 6000 others were people they wanted to get rid of anyway. That would suggest to me that the whole exercise was mostly to dump people they didn’t want, and they could blame it on refusal to be jabbed.

A lot like back when I was in corporate America and the company got rid of folks by “eliminating the position”. My oldest daughter was in HR for a big company, and she would defend eliminating a position when we argued. But then her position got eliminated. I thought it wise to not bring up that subject again. And she got a new and better job very quickly.

It’s mind blowing that still today people believe the COVID vaccine did anything at all. The data undeniably shows it did absolutely nothing to prevent transmission or improve outcomes.

I live with 7 other firefighters for 48 hours at a time. Half our department of around 200 did not get vaccinated, not a single one regrets it but several who did get the vaccine regret it…

It was huge money grab and billions were made off the fear of the American citizens

It’s interesting that some of our friends that were jabbed repeatedly and still got the virus once, twice, or three times still would go for the next shot. In for a penny, in for a pound, I suppose. I can’t use logic on them. Their long time defenses for getting the shots have been:

- If I get the shot I won’t catch the virus. Well, I guess this defense has faded from view.
- If I get the shot, I won’t infect others. That also has faded from conversation.
- if I get the shot/shots I won’t be as sick. They still use that, and I think it’s the last line of defense for them.

All of my family that got the shot won’t get another one. Those of us that didn’t get them remain resolute.

Every one of them should receive full back pay for all the time between when the government told them they had to leave until the time when they return.

This right here!

On a side note - the Govt did tell them that they can apply to have their records (dd214) corrected even if they don't go back in.

as do I and probably 10 plus other posters on this thread, you are the only one that thinks you are special enough to kick other service members out via political mandates out of fear. I could give 2 [censored] if someone has a leaky vaccination, there are much bigger things to worry about.

If you are that scared of the minimal death rates of Covid in 18-27 years old I damn sure dont want to be in a hole with you. That the Last thing i would care about is if you had a covid vac

Military branches have way more things to worry about including operational readiness, supply chain, falling numbers, old equipment, etc. then a leaky political wallet padding vaccine. Tossing combat vets out over politics hurts training, moral and readiness.. etc… Apparently I’m correct since they are trying to bring them back.
