I have been on my lease for 11 years and I finally got a mountain lion on camera. When I first got on there was another lease member that got multiple pics of one in 2012. I shot a pig under my feeder and left lots of blood. I drug the pig off about 40 yards behind a wood pile and it didn't touch it. A different group of pigs showed up and left at 9:10 and it showed up at 9:27. I am adding a pic of a pig at the same feeder for reference.

Very cool! I actually had a dream last night that I got one. Hoping it was a premonition for this upcoming weekend.

I'm 99.9% sure I saw a dead one on the side of the road coming back from Austin on 10/29 on northbound i35E. Was just outside Waxahachie bw mile markers 401 and 399.

My kids were hungry and fussy so my wife wouldnt let me turn around.. realmad

Anyone else by chance see it as well?

We had one last year in our area. Confirmed sighting by one of our neighbors and at the same time one of our highfence neighbors had carcasses piling up. They would always be on the same trail that wound through some big rock overhangs and he thought the cat would hang on top of the rocks and jump down on the passing deer

Big Siamese...more around today than anytime in my lifetime. They call really easily as they are not afraid of anything in the jungle except you.
Adios,

Nah, its just an overfed house cat.... clap

No really, thats pretty cool. Have you noticed a down tick in animal activity since you got that pic? Stories of deer going absent and not moving as much when lions are in the area makes me wonder...

We got a similar picture in one of our feed pens some years back. He was spotted live by one hunter but it was a quick look and he was gone.

So I drove to a stand in the dark one morning that was near where this lion picture was taken. Fed out and parked my buggy and walked to my stand. Hunted and then got down to go back to my buggy. It had rained a lot and as I am walking I look down and my footprints were in the mud. Walking right over my prints were lion tracks. Hair stood up on my neck!

Our numbers are way down but we do have a lot of pressure added by surrounding properties based on the amount of gunshots we are hearing as well as adding a few hunters to our previous numbers. Hogs were there until 9:10 and it showed up at 9:27 then the pigs returned after midnight. I did notice the whole week I was there that my south feeder got the least amount of deer activity though.
