Was checking on some calves yesterday and parked at the barn gate. Answered some text and I felt my truck rocking. Crazy calf stuck his head in my wheel well of my ranch truck. Got on the tractor and lifted the truck up and the calf was free. Has this happened to any of y’all.

Nope. But at my grandpas if you drove a truck into the pasture as soon as it stopped they would be licking all over the truck.

If this was anything other than a cow, I would be surprised.

Wow, that’s crazy! Had a 3 week old calf just drop dead last week, he had been fine. Freaking animals!

Country life does have its ups and downs. But I wouldn't trade it for the world.

The phrase 'dumb animal' comes to mind. If you think cows are bad, try sheep on for size.

I've seen ranchers wanting sheeps to get their heads stuck, but never heifers.

I had a calf snap it's neck by getting stuck in a cultivator while eating grass.

Never seen that before, but I have seen a cow crawl into the back seat of a 4 door Honda. Its front legs were bent and there was no way of getting her out that didn’t result in death or cutting the car apart.

Wind. Nothing inside the skull of a cow....I am convinced.

If there is a stupider animal walking the Earth...I am not aware of it.

But maybe that is a good thing in some respects. Easier to make Leather and Hamburger/Steaks from them that way.

And a person need only be marginally smarter than a cow to raise them (most of the time). So that's a plus....I suppose.

Was always told sheep are born looking for a place to die or if one drops dead the others will die feeling sorry for it. Hated hunting a pasture where sheep were, alwaays seemed to be one hanging around pointing out where I was.

Had a big one kick the bumper of my truck as I was going by. I hate them…all of them!
