The injunction was granted yesterday by the Northern District of Texas. It is nationwide so everyone is covered. When ATF appeals, it will be heard by the 5th Circuit who routinely rules against the goon squad.

I feel bad for all the poor saps who took the bait and registered their pistols as an SBR.

Never gloat. It has a habit of biting you in the posterior.

Braces suck. At least they can put a real stock on them now.

I got legal SBRs for free. No regrets here.

That is the first time I have ever read one of those. Surprisingly easy to understand.

What sucks is putting your name on a registry. That's what sucks.

TBH they waived the $200 tax stamp so they’re not poor at all.

I’ve read these before. This one is surprisingly easy and told the lower court judges to go pound sand. But, you can bet that the liberals like good old uncle Joe will try again.

Except they now have to abide by all the goofy SBR rules and the government knows who has what. Nothing is free.

If you registered it, do you now need permission to leave the state ??

What a buddy told me.

Yea you need permission from ATF to take an SBR or Machine Gun out of state. Suppressors no you don’t.

Why would you “feel bad” for the “poor saps”. They were able to register the firearms for free and then put a real ( comfortable stock on their guns. Pretty sure they don’t need or want you to “feel bad” for them! And yes, I was one of those “poor saps” and I am perfectly happy. And before you go off on “being on ATFs list” I couldn’t give a [censored]. I have so many registered NFA , that one more means nothing

I believe it’s a notification, not permission

Just like my opinion means nothing to you, your opinion means absolutely nothing to me.

Good for you. Everyone on this board claims to be a conservative but some willingly gave up their rights to save $200 bucks and then brag about it. Millions of us didn't take the bait. Enjoy your registered firearms while knowing nothing is really free.

Yes, that was a trap. Now since the brace rule is going away millions of people have unregistered SBR's with no tax stamp being paid. Everyone one of them can be labeled as felons now. I could have gotten "free" stamps on 2, one I sold and the other I went through the normal process and paid the $200 tax for this very reason. Don't want the ATF to come back a year from now and say oh that isn't an SBR you never paid the tax on it and our stupid rule failed so your "free tax stamp" is null and void.
