Bought deer corn an hour ago and planned to fill feeders before the rains came. Went to the far back feeder, and just when I got there, the skies opened up. You can’t outrun rain with a tractor. Got back to the house and it rained hard till I got in the back door, and then it quit. Is the good Lord bored and messing with me for fun?

Paid $8.39 per 50 # bag.

I got the corn at Woodson’s in Groesbeck. They have stores in several locations. It is not where I normally buy corn, but my usual place had run out of corn and didn’t know when the next truck would show up. I wasn’t sure that Woodson’s had corn, but they had a huge supply.

Go north to Celina Brookshires. $10.49 a bag for 50 lb bag. But if you buy 9, you get the 10th for free, making it $9.44 a bag.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago. Was about 15 mins from the barn when it started pouring sideways. I was worried about the lighting. Finally made it to the barn called for a ride because I was in the side by side. bang
