Hi y'all,

I'm looking to have my old Ruger M77 tang safety rebarrelled from .243 to 7mm-08, action trued, new stock to go with, etc. Do y'all have anyone you can recommend within easy driving distance of Round Rock? I'd like to keep the whole thing blued, if that's even possible anymore.

Thanks,

Travis

Round Rock

The North has double last names. The South has double first names.

I had them do a recrown on the barrel I'm hoping to replace. Of course, that was 20 years ago...

I took a rifle (a "back door" Dakota Arms .270 Win that I picked up at a gun show) to Hill Country Rifles about 20 yrs ago to have it bedded and floated. I was very pleased with the results (it's now one one the most accurate rifles I own), so I'm a fan of the company.

But, just go to their website now. Unless you have money to burn, IMHO it would be cost-prohibitive to have them work on an older Ruger.

Had a nice talk with Mark at Tumbleweeds. Krieger barrel is en route, build scheduled for Jan or Feb. Thanks y'all.
