I have tons of pics of this deer but all straight on or with his head down. I’m trying to figure out if he will get any bigger next year and what age he is. His body and neck are bigger than any other deer I have seen. We did have a pretty good early spring growth. What’s everyone’s opinion. Should I give him another year. I’m not worried at all about him getting shot since we are on a pretty big place and nobody else has seen him in the last 2 years. This is the second season he has been a regular. Agree. If you can, give him 2 more years!

At least 4.5, but I’d personally give him at least a year.

I’ve let some walk and ended the season wishing I had shot something.

Two kind of deer, big enough and not big enough, and each hunter must make that call himself.

My guess is he’s 4 1/2. Yes Sir, 1 more year minimum. Keep him happy!

I have said this for many years - "a dead deer never adds another inch of horn" - to each his own but if you are in it for the long term then you have to be willing to be patient and let the deer reach his potential

You can't fix stupid
