I see from news reports that Mary Lou Return is very sick and her daughter is using several gofundme type sites to raise money for her bills as she has no health insurance. I felt for her right up until I read she has a custom built 9000 sq ft home in the Houston area. Sympathy vanished.
Only at the end do you realize the power of the Dark Side.

As long as she never kneeled during the national anthem I don’t have any issues with her. I seem to remember her campaigning for Reagan too. If she’s sick I hope she gets better.

I wonder why she doesn't have Obama Care aka Affordable Care from the governement. It's easy to get, You have to pay or at least file taxes, maybe she doesn't file taxes, Kinda stupid not to have health insurance at her age. I don't know how Ms. Retton got to where she is at right now, but my heart goes out to a talented athlete struggling to breathe. If you have ever been hospitalized with pneumonia, you know the helplessness. God bless and keep you, Mary Lou.

But I agree, stupid not to have health insurance.

I looked up rare pneumonia types, some of them are quite nasty, her prognosis might not be good. Let's pray that it's one of the more treatable types.

But I agree, stupid not to have health insurance. You can be sitting on millions and still qualify for Obamacare so long as your spending is kept in check. The cost is based on your annual taxable income.
