Planting our fall plots this weekend. All ground has been tilled and ready we just need to broadcast the seed in. My question is fertilizer, can I fertilize with 13-13-13 at the same time as planting the seed? I don’t want to burn up the seed and have only a few years of experience with food plots. Last year we broadcast seed and covered it and then after that broadcast the fertilizer and leave on the top of the plot until rain. turned out fine that way but I was curious if there is a better way?
Thanks

Either will work just fine. Do what is the easiest for you. Good luck on your plot. I planted last weekend myself.

Appreciate the responses. Hoping we get some forecasted rain chances soon

No rain means no planting for me. Got 1.6 inch the other day but that got sucked in quickly.

I will throw fertilizer on top of the dirt after planting. It keeps the hogs from rooting up the seed
