He didn’t actually shoot it, but he was there and overly excited to get up at 530am and go sit in the stand. I was having a very lazy morning, no coffee, and haven’t had pigs on camera in the morning in a few weeks, so my hopes weren’t high. So I parked the truck almost directly behind the blind. 5 minutes in the stand and I had barely got the boy settled in and my window open. Turned on the Pulsar Thermal for a quick scan, and to my amazement there was a large single boar at the feeder. I got the Stream app turned on so the boy could watch, put the thermal back on the gun and got it up and out the window. The boar had walked a little to the left and I had a mesquite tree between him and me. I waited until I got a clean picture of his head and sent a 62 grain FMG from the 223 into his head. He dropped immediately and started the death kick. Just for good measure I sent another into his chest. He never got up. Congrats on the pig but much better sharing the hunt with your Son. Won't be many years until you are an observer, guide and processor for that young man and love every minute of it

Outstanding Wade!!!! Had my son hunting with me at that age, lots of memories made, and we still hunt together and he is 34. Don’t hunt the same stand, his is about 400 yards away. We stay in contact with two way radios. Still making memories!
