I’d like to see how full the stands get by kick off. its weird seeing the north endzone stands. it's weird seeing beer in the stands, I remember if you didn't have 4 people per keg you would get ticketed for bootlegging in Erath County Class of 94 I vaguely remember that, but the trips to M&W were always fun, as was the Dodge House. I couldn't begin to count the number of times Bruce kicked me out of the Dodge House. My roommate always stayed in town and worked over Thanksgiving/Christmas. Melba and Wes would always invite him to dinner.

We went to two games there last year when my son was being recruited by Tarleton. It didn’t work and he wound up going to Angelo State but I must admit I loved the campus there and the football facilities. It was great and the people seemed nice. Angelo State seems similar in terms of the people and lack of wokeness thank god. My son is conservative and was worried about a liberal campus some. He loves it at Angelo State

Why do the young men from Alpine refer to Tarleton State students as being Twinkies?

I’d like to see how full the stands get by kick off. After hosting a record crowd of 22,251 fans at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Tarleton State Football ranks FOURTH nationally in attendance out of 128 FCS programs! 🔥

The team is pretty good, quite a bit of size. Besides the 2 RBs, don't believe Tarleton had another starter under 6' on either side of ball. Lots of FBS portal transfers on their roster.

My son is at Tarleton and loves it. It is his second year there. I have only been down there once since he has been there and I really liked the campus.

Back in the day, there were six coeds for every fella on campus. What a great school.

Current ratio is about 65% female, 35% male, my kind of odds.....

I did see that A&M is hosting Tarleton next year. These type of out of conference games can really help a small program. Probably a half million dollar payday. Heck, they might even win.

DQ, give Montana's restaurant a try sometime, was the "place" back in the 90"sm the one in Weatherford couldn't touch the Stephenville location.

Me and the wife went there every weekend in the very early 90`s and it was always good. We bought a camper in 93 and spent most weekends on Proctor Lake after that catching Hybrids. Probably haven`t eaten there a dozen times since then.
