Hunted 4 days and shot 58 and only missed the 4th limit because the wife wanted to go to an early dinner. It took right at one hour per hunt and if shot better, I could have been done in 45 minutes or less. I was hunting in Stonewall county. I saw countless birds from singles to big groups. It was a mixed bag of birds loafing into the decoys and birds with the afterburners turned on.

Great job glad you had great hunt, I was in the south last week and it was great also. Looks like the birds made full recovery from the big freezings! up up

Guessing you ate some before you shot the last thirteen?

Why would that matter unless he was traveling with more than 3 possessions?
He can shoot as many limits as he wants as long he is not traveling or not at final destination with them, granted he only kills one limit per day.

Grilled some at camp and ate them. Bacon wrapped and basted with equal portions of Heinz 57 and honey with a dusting of Meat Church Honey Hog. The honey and honey hog rub creates kind of a sweet heat. No cream cheese in my recipe.

Agree - I had been worried how the freeze/freezes had affected the bird population.
Now, if we can just get rid of this drought and triple digit temps 4 days away from October

The end won’t be for everyone…

That sounds good and will try it. I have an old recipe where you bake them and it is delish.

""he can shoot as many limits as wants" - huh? You must understand the possession limit differently than I do. Pretty sure there is no traveling requirement, it is a possession limit and applies if you are traveling or not. Once at final destimation, it's a moot point.

Yall are saying the same thing.

The definition of final destination is the squirrelly part. Usually it means your residence. If you're at a hotel, or your camper, that's when the 3 possession limit applies. It does not if you're hunting and taking birds back to your residence every day, which is what mo is saying.
