I do not think you can get any waders for sub $200 anymore. Maybe an Academy brand possibly a Cabelas on sale, but the list of waders under 200 is going to be very short it will make it an easy decision.

I got some of what I thought was the best Academy brand they had, I think they were around $200. I wore them and they absolutely made my legs raw where the boot and wader meet. I wore under armor leggings the rest of the season which helped but I am also in search of GOOD waders, I don't care so much about what they cost...

Sitka waders, cheapest on the market. I have a pair of Cabelas waders I think were around $200 and I've used them for the past 3 or 4 years. They've held up nice.

I've been wearing breathable gator waders for 2 seasons now. Not sure if it's the "breathable" part or the Gator Wader part, but they are hands down, best I've ever worn. Made in Bullard, TX. They started out as an ATV park riding wader and have caught traction in the duck hunting world. Not even close to a leak, so far, knock on wood. I treat them pretty rough, for what it's worth.

Ordered rogers last time, they’re fine, except I’m 6’0 200 size 12 and they’d fit somebody 6’5 380. Can fit 2 of me in the chest section and the shoulder straps won’t go short enough for them both to hold snug. They’re fine waders, just fit ridiculous

I've had not so good experiences out of mine. Original pair 3 years ago leaked in the crotch. GW did warranty them with a new pair. The new pair had the upgraded foot material. They leaked at the boots after dry rotting at the creases where the boot bends while walking. I keep my boots in my closet in my house when not in use and in my garage while in season. I did buy yet another pair though, GW had them on sale for 50% off, couldn't pass that deal by. This newest pair is unused as I took some of my handy dandy roofing sealant (the best there is) and caulked the boots up and they never leaked rest of last season. I' will start this year with those patched up boot pair and if/when they poop out I will get into the new ones.

I like all the features of the GW's and have a pair of breathable, uninsulated also, they are going good as I use them very little. Just bad luck with the brathable, insulated ones.

One day I'm going to spend the money and get the Sitka

I’ve wore Cabelas and Magellan the last several years. Both are in your price range and work fine. The cabelas fit me a little better but I like the boots on the Magellan better. I usually get two years out of them before the seams leak. I look at waders as temporary expendable gear. Old lakes with submerged timber do not discriminate. They puncture expensive waders right along with more affordable waders. It hurts a lot less to trash and replace a cheap pair. In the mud in the coastal marshes I prefer a stocking foot with lace up wading boots. Where the bottom is not soft, deep, sticky mud and in cold weather my feet like an insulated boot foot wader.

Get a pair of Magellan waders - probably around the $200-250 range.
They have a good warranty program for them, if they leak - take them back and they'll let you take a new one, or give you store credit.
I went through three pairs of the Garrison breathable waders, great waders to get you started, but they leak at the boots all the time.
Hunted everything from flooded timber, flooded corn, and open water, even wore them out in the gulf for flounder and redfish.
