I'm bowhunting dcnf forest this year, is i found a straight branchless pine about 15 yards away from a white oak and about 5 yards from a creek. i didn't see any deer sign on the way in, would that be a good place to hunt once acorns are falling in October?

I would try to find an area with some sign. You might check it out again before the season starts.

If there's sign around it, the animals could find the acorns. Just remember the animals could be eating the food at night because of hunting pressure.
