Needing a referral for a reputable plumber. Have a leak under the slab that needs fixing. Its about 10 ft from the edge of the slab, in a half bath off the Kitchen. House has had foundation work in the past and may not be back-filled under it, I know other areas were not back-filled. Please let me know if you do this kind of repair or know of someone. Appreciate the help guys, been without water in the house for a week now. House is in the Allen area.

You may try Master Plumbing Repair out of Fort Worth. I don't know if you're too far for them, or not. We had a bad stoppage in our washing machine line and they were the only company out of 6 that was able to get it cleared. Germania Insurance had referred them to us and we were very happy with their work.

Bolt Guy - Going thru this as we speak in the Allen area as well. We now have three cutouts in our bathroom wall trying to find the leak and have a leak detection company coming out on Thursday to hopefully identify it. My plumber is a one man company that takes good care of us but can be a little flakey so I would be hesitant to recommend him to someone. All I know is that I am fixing to spend some cash on getting this taken care of.
Best of luck to you.

Went through that back in March. My first quote is below. Ended up going with another plumber and did option 3 for about $9k of which 80% was for the tunneling.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Make sure they insulate the pex well. This would just cost you some extra sheetrock headache. A drain line will require tunneling or concrete cutting.

I had several plumbers quote me numbers from $5,000 to $15,000 (18 years ago). Somehow they could magically see through the slab and knew where the problem was, they all picked a different spot. It was a cold water line blowing water around it, and up and into the wall. We got the water out of the house quickly. After thinking about it and talking to a friend that has seen a lot of problems (maintenance guy) I cut out the base plate in the wall and chiseled around the copper pipe. It was touching where it was tied to the rebar before the slab was poured (to hold it in place), and electrolysis had eaten a hole in the pipe. The thin sleeve that protects the copper from touching was not enough. A few hours later it was fixed. There was just water damage after that. I do not know where your problem is, but this is something to look at.
