My father in law has gone into an assisted living facility and we are having to liquidate some assets to fund it…
This was his baby….i dont have any land to use it or i would for surely keep it and buy it from him….we are waiting on the title for the Trailer to be mailed to us (my wife is the POA for everything)
Just giving you a little context…. So you understand i may not have all the answers to your questions.

He used it to put in food plots / mow and occasionally move a log or something on an old piece of family land back in Louisiana.

This is a John Deere Model 820 (starts and purrs like a kitten)
He customized and added the front bumper with a 9K LB winch (he got it stuck once and this was his “fix for that”)

Comes with a 18ft Bass (brand of trailer) ….Pipe top utility trailer, wood is good on the trailer as well, no soft spots or rotten areas…has trailer brakes on the back axel
I just had to put brand new 10ply tires to get it here from Louisiana
The lights dont work on the trailer (i bought his old truck from him, so I’m not sure if its the truck or the trailer) just got in yesterday and haven’t tried to figure it out

I dont know anything about older John Deere tractors….unfortunately his dementia has gotten pretty bad and he cant even remember when he bought it…
If your serious about purchasing you can drive it around my yard, but i surely dont want to load and unload it for fun….

The serial number is under the big bumper and I’m not planning to take it off to get it (we had to call John Deere because we couldn’t find it anywhere) tractors only have a Bill of sale ….not registered with the state like an auto

We are asking $8k for the whole package (i think that is a pretty solid deal getting this close to hunting season)

How many hours are on the tractor?

The gauge cluster was changed out at some point, not sure how many years ago….I can text you pics if you want to see the cluster

The cluster says 245 hours….

TractorData.com. says it was built in the years 1968 - 1973. One Tough Tractor for sure.

This tractor uses a key and does not have the Pony motor
