Got contacted via my hunting partner, Ben about doing some fielding of products from a new company that recently started here in North Texas (Richardson). Drove down and took a look at what they had to offer and where they were wanting to go and came home with some loaner gear to try out. This first video is of their new digital night vision, the Tourer T20, 1920x1080 resolution. Here is a link to RIX's website... https://www.rix-nv.com/homepage/Initial impressions are very positive. The product works well and has audio and video recording (hence the video), two 18650 batteries inside, and comes with an IR illuminator. As a person who has used electro optics before, learning the menu system was a breeze and zeroing was a very positive experience. This video doesn't show it, but at night, 300 yards on a well contrasted target would certainly be possible. If it is a brown coyote in brown grass, it is going to blend in pretty well at 300 yards. Here, I took a coyote at 65 yards and a skunk with a neck shot at 85 yards. I hope to start on one of RIX's LEAP thermal scopes this evening as well as getting more Tourer video, but first off to the range to get zeroed.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. How does night and day time image quality copare to the Wraith HDs?
