Anyone on here have any mulcher experience, preferably large mulchers? If you do and looking for employment shoot me a message. I’m needing a couple guys to run some Barko’s and a excavator with mulcher. Willing to train the right guys with small mulcher experience if needed.

I have zero experience. But I’d run one for pizza and beer for a day, after the pizza and beer of course. What’s the worst I can do?

I was going to say, I would hate to have to fix that machine. You'd have to have some major money set back. Heck I cringe having to fix something on my skid steer, lol.

For size comparison, look at the pickup truck far right of page. Yikes!

That might be used to mow the path to let the little mulchers in (ones in the background.)

Me too, I need someone I can turn loose and and not worry about them. It seems everyone these days wants to be the chief bypassing the Ingin part.

I’ll bet hearing protection is required even in the cab.

I’m sure some guys do but I’d prefer a tracked machine for doing that type work, that’s pretty hard on tires running over stumps all day.

It’s actually pretty quiet inside, you can listen to the radio all day.

It’s fun but it turns into a job after a while, but a satisfying one with lots of destruction involved rofl

So you could learn how to run it in a couple hours? I bet it wouldn’t take that long to make those little ones up front vanish. Probably more like an hour n half roflmao These really don’t even slow down much on that size cedar but the bill to haul it up there would be scary.

I’ve got a new guy starting next week but I need a few more if anyone needs a job, we’ve got way to many machines without the seats filled. If excavators are your jam we have a brand new Volvo 220 and 160 with mulchers parked now along with a CAT 320 and 316 I need filled. Send me somebody and I’ll buy you a nice steak dinner for 2.

I think we have a crew down that way, we’re pretty scattered out right now, I’m heading that direction tomorrow to check on them unless they threw a piece of wood through your windshield and in that case it’s most definitely not us and I’m not coming bolt

I was going to say, there are no small screw ups in a rig like that. When you screw up, it can be a major screw up. Property damage can be catastrophic. You could easily kill people and not even know it. No, you're not going to learn it in a few hours. I would be puckered up the whole time in a machine like that. Lol. eeks333

No Sir I noticed your crew working there yesterday. Just east of that location a crew has knocked down most of the pines on Dr. Anderson's place. They were working here yesterday too. The Carlisle place has been overgrown for many years so I was wondering if y'all were clearing the whole place or just the west side ? Gonna make a heck of a pasture / hay field.

What's the per acre cost on cedar clearing these days?

I could run one of those on our place for a few weeks and still have more work to do. Nice looking rigs.
