We're on our last day of a 12 day South Africa hunt up in the Limpopo provence with Milky Creek Safaris. Our group is my wife Joyce and 3 hunting buddies (James, Jeremy and Paul), all Texans. Joyce, Jeremy and I are all testing our New Ultralight Arms bolt rifles in .358 Win. and new Lehigh Defense bullets which will be released early next month. James and Paul are hunting with 9.3x62 and .416 Rigby rifles. All total we've taken over 35 animals. This is Jeremy's first trip to Africa and my 28th..

I've been to Botawana, S Africa, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Zambia. The Zambia trip was probably the overall best. But I've enjoyed them all and over the past 15 years have only gone to S Africa since we have a hunting farm and nice camp there. I've always wanted to go to Namibia since I've heard so much good about it. Botswana and Namibia are the two safest to go to.

The cape buffalo and warthog are awesome. Bedsides the bosses on the buffalo his face has such great character. The stories that boy could tell, the battles he's been in. Congratulations on a magnificent buffalo. Warthogs have always fascinated me, I don't know why but they have. If I get the chance to hunt in Africa I'm going to see that a Warthog is on my list. Congratulations on what looks like a wonderful trip.
