I've hunted in the rain twice. Both were some of the best hunts I ever had. It was a little uncomfortable and messy, but the birds were flying. Both were morning hunts.
Bought my license this morning at Academy in Plano. Little hiccup with the "computer". This always happens. bought a 30-minute ordeal. Could have ordered online but you still have to go pick it up.
all in all it was fine, my annual tradition.

The temps in Uvalde are looking are nice, lows in the 70's and highs low 90's. Of course that can change easily in a weeks time.
