I have a couple of Form 1 cans but I’m wanting to go commercial this time. For now, it’ll sit on a 6.5prc bolt gun and an AR-10 hog gun and I’m not terribly concerned with overall weight on this one.. Also, I’m not opposed to spending money on a high quality tube..
Thoughts? Would you wait until later in the fall and see if any of the manufacturers offer a BOGO?
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

I think a lot of my Nomad and Nomad L. A friend of mine just got a TBAC Ultra7, its a great choice as well. It didnt seem as quiet as the Nomad, but it had a really good dull sound and no loud crack. I liked it enough to order one myself. The weight and smaller OD was nice.

x2 I’ll add the new SilencerCo Scythe to that list too. I haven’t heard it (not sure anyone has) but it’s got the volume and weight thing going on. We need to have THF suppressor day so we can share and hear different suppressors.

Dead air,Thunderbeast and Dilligent Defense are a few solid options.

I’ve got an Omega 30 that I really like, mainly shoot it on my AR10 308 or 6.5 Grendel.
But honestly, if you stick with one of the major brands, I doubt you’ll be disappointed, just have to figure out what’s most important to you.

^ This or a .30 Cal offering from Q.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I like Dead Air because of the warranty. Which one doesn't matter they are all decent. You just need to find the one that is sexiest for you. I like tough as nails and can never wear it out so I got the sandman. But it fits me. You need to find what fits you the best. I say buy Dead Air. That's my 2 cents.
GO TRUMP!

Several brands share mounts, breaks, thread caps etc.
I also have an omega 30 but my nomad sounds better if that makes since. They also share parts but I usually direct thread

A lot of the other brands are welded shut. I like that my Sandman is serviceable l. Even if I never need to, I just like the option.

If you've been following news in the NFA world right now I would recommend staying away from Dead Air. They're going through quite the wringer with the Sierra 5 baffles disintegrating and so they're seeing a massive wave of RMAs. They've basically nuked their online social media presence and are barely replying to customer inquiries.
If you aren't opposed to spending some money, TBAC is up there as the best. But surprisingly the Aero Lahar just had some data published by Pew Science and it is one of the best performers in terms of suppression. Seems like a great budget option.

I have a Rugged Razor that I like. I've used it on my AR-10 and Ruger American as well as a 6.8 AR-15. It is a bit heavy compared to the Nomad TI, which I just got and haven't shot yet but I have no doubt it is a top quality can as well.

A titanium can would be nice but at the price I’ve been more than pleased with the YHM Resonator R2. I get tired to switching it between hosts so it’s tempting to buy a couple extra but not sure I need it to do anything it doesn’t do. Could pay double the price to have 4oz lighter but sound suppression has been outstanding.

And everyone asking about Dead Air, they are getting torn up on Reddit’s NFA group.
