There are some fine holster makers out there and I have bought from a number of them, but I decided I would try Simply Rugged for a pancake for the Smith Model 69. Pretty sure I will be happy with it. Anyone else running a Simply Rugged?
And speaking of holster legends, how many know that old Sam Myres really put his S.D, Myres Saddlery on the map right here in little old Sweetwater? I was surprised when I ran across it. He even served on the school board -- and as mayor, before the fire in 1919 and relocating to El Paso.
Sweetwater, like sooo many Texas towns, has a downtown mostly filled with empty brick buildings and fading memories. I wish I knew a way to bring these communities back.

Have been using Simply Rugged for L and N framed revolvers for a decade. This includes both holsters, belts and ammo carriers. Amazing company, amazing products. Their Cumberland holsters and their full moon 45 ACP pouches are my favorite.

Iā€™m a fan. I like the Chesty Puller system for riding around the ranch in a vehicle or tractor.

I bought one for a BFR .410 a few years back and for a 4.2" SP101. I sold both with the guns. The price was okay, but the material used was pretty low quality leather. It's an entry into leather holsters comparable to the price of kydex. They do make for a great selection of firearms, though.

This one has been riding IWB just about every day for about 4 years. Given the mileage, you can judge the quality of the leather and construction. The pistol is a 3ā€ 629 so not a lightweight pocket pistol.
I have found the quality and value of their products to be top notch.

Another example.
5ā€ 1911
Not as much mileage on this one.
