I know, join the club ...

We've been on the same lease in Young County for 29 years. Landowner is finally ready to sell. Will be looking for a place within 2-3 hours of Denton for a group of 5. Water and power would be ideal but we know we can't be too picky. Can provide references. Thanks.

Y'all had a very good run. Good luck looking.

Yessir we have been blessed. We now have three generations on that place. Landowner is like family, but getting older and in poor health.
Just one of those things.

I've been hunting Young County 17 years myself. Landowner has not raised the cost on me once in that time. Looking at prices on this thread now I hope he lasts longer than I do as I doubt I'll be getting another lease if I lose this one frown Mine has talked about selling his 100 acrest to me when it's time but by then I'll be old as he is! smile

My son and I have been hunting on a place for about the last 15 years. This place belonged to a friend of mine that I’ve known for 40 years,he traded hunting for work around the place fixing fence building corrals, working on tractors. This worked pretty well until he decided to sell,my son is still young so he just bought it from him.He has taken some very nice bucks off this place before he bought it,said the hunting was to good to pass up.
