40sw & 300BO. Quit casting for AR10 as I sold it. 30/30 and 9mm, not so much.

My first "Big Boy" semi-auto rifle being a POF P415 - 5.56/ .223 I found out quick how fast you can go thru a 200 round box of ammunition. I didn't go thru .22 rim fire that fast when I was a kid! My most reloaded round is 223/ 5.56. I load Hornady 75gr BTHP Match for pigs (I know about the lack of penetration but it's the heaviest .223 I can load and keep in a magazine) and 40gr V-Max for coyotes. I load .223/5.56 on a Dillon 550B. All other rifle is on a Redding Big Boss II. Next is for a .308 bench gun. If you're actually in Texas today you're HOT!! Stay safe, but not too safe. You won't have any fun.

Used to be 308 or 30/30, now 300 BO. Run a batch of 40sw every once in a while, 9mm even less often.

.38/.357 I like plinking with pistols. Revolvers are my favorites. I never lose or have to search for my brass. I load for 3 .357/.38 revolvers. I also have a Marlin lever gun in .38/.357 that I enjoy. I cast most of the bullets I run through them all. Very inexpensive to load and shoot.

Depends on which rifle /caliber I'm battling to settle in groupwise. At the moment my favorites are 44 mag and 22-250.
My very favorite to load (heartfelt) is .35 Rem. Most volume is 9mm and .380.

Going back to the late 60's for rifle it has been 30-06, 22-250, 223, and 7x57 in that order. Was shooting hogs back then with the 06 before hogs were a thing. Most loaded ammo, 20ga will be up there.

7mm-08 lately but over the years 45 Colt by a large margin. Yup. I priced out factory .45 Colt today. I've been out of the loop for a bit on ammo pricing but about fell over when I saw it.

Historically, it has been the .223 which I reload for and push through a Wylde upper. Over the years I've gathered so much .223 brass that it has become a nuisance to me from a storage aspect! More recently I have been working with the 6.5 Creedmoor and since the acquisition of a Henry in 45 Colt, my reloading equipment has been singing with those two calibers. Handgun wise, it's 9mm by a long shot, followed by 45ACP.

38, 357, 9mm. 45acp. 44 Mag, 35 Rem, 444 Marlin probably in that order.

Mostly load 6.8 with 120gr SSTs for pigs and usually do batches of 300 over 2-4 of days (depending on arthritis as I have a single action press). Second would be .223 with 69gr OTMBTs for deer and varmints.

Since the only range that I can shoot at on a regular basis is handguns only or rimfire rifles only I load mostly for 9mm, 38spl, 357mag, and 44spl.

For the past few years the 300 HAM'R has been my favorite with the .308 Win. a close second. The .300 Win.Mag, .243 Rem.,, 45-70, 7.62x40, 9mm, .45ACP, .38 Spec.,.357Mag and 5.56 are the cartridges that that I play with now and then. The 5.56 is actually the one I load the least.

Lately for me it's been 9mm and .260 Rem. If someone had told me five years ago that's what I'd be doing now I would have laughed at them.
I do a lot of hog hunting with the .260, so that trend will likely continue indefinitely. The 9mm thing is just a recent development that's necessitating a certain amount of testing. I found a pistol in 9mm I really like a lot and am getting more familiar with it, and I'll keep shooting it because it's just plain fun, but at some point my bigger handguns will get back in the rotation. Since I now have a lot of time on my hands these days I'll probably be shooting a lot more...but the fact that I can and do cast bullets for my handguns makes shooting them a lot more economical. An abundance of .22-cal bullets accumulated over the years will bring my rifles in .223 Rem back into the mix in a major way as well.
Edit: forgot I'd posted to this thread back in July...and YUP, things do change!
LOL.

I probably load for 20 calibers but 223 is my number 1. We have 7 223 rifles in the family and I have been reloading 223 since 1983. I have loaded thousands of 55 gr. SP & HP
some people like silver and gold I like brass and lead with a little powder in between

I have a Dillon 650 so when I load its usually in larger lots. This past year, 2000 9mm, 1500 .380, 1000 223, 1000 45 Auto, 500 .308, and 300 44 mag. Small lot stuff like the Weatherbys get loaded as I accumulate 50-100 prices of brass. I previously loaded 500 45 Colt. I will be loading more .30 carbine this coming year as I am back playing with that again and the brass pile is growing. So is the 10mm pile.
