I flat tow my Jeep to the lease and I'd like to add a storage basket to the front bumper of my hunting Jeep...

...but the trick is it must mount the tow bar mounting brackets or directly to the bumper...but it must be relatively easy to swap between tow bar configuration and storage basket...

Any experience or thoughts on an existing product out there? I've done some googling and have not found anything that will work with the tow bar mounts...

Thanks in advance

Where are you located? I can design and build a nice one that will work on your set up.

Could you make a storage basket with a receiver that would fit in a receiver hitch on front or back of jeep?

I thought about this...I like the idea but I need to see if I can just add a receiver hitch to the front frame like you can the rear...otherwise I'm getting into a new custom bumper ($$$) with receiver hitch and tow bar mounts...

Go to Koehler Welding and see if he can come up with somthing for you. Corner of Engel and IH 35. He be pretty practical.

Add on - speak with Brett at Outfitter on Loop 337. Don't call him, he won't talk to you. When you ge there, tell them Hud sent you. If he don't do it, he'll know where to send you. More practical again.

Building a mount to accept a 2” receiver for the front would be a lot cheaper than replacing the front bumper.

Hud, thanks for the great feedback...I've heard positive things about Koehler in the past...I'll check out both.

This. We had a receiver hitch added to the front of our lease Jeep so that we could add hitched mounted feeder to corn pipelines/senderos - it was also flat towed and didn't interfere with anything.
