I loved watching him play at A&M.

Great talent thrown away because of a spoiled brat attitude. The Idiots in Kerrville are putting up a bronze statue of him

His scrambling and rushing made him a great. Mike Evans certainly helped him out with his size and rebounding.

Enjoyed watching him. Was able to without idolizing him. So many of the posts got more fingers pointing at themselves than Jonny or the Aggies.

Manziel had lightning in a bottle and pissed it all away. He is not the first one to do it and he will not be the last.

He was fun to watch when at A&M. I almost sat out a evening hunt while in Kansas. That’s when they played and beat Alabama. Local news said the other night that he is opening a bar in College Station. Forget what it will be called.

In his Heisman year, Evans caught 82 of JFF's 295 completions, that's 28% -- Evans was a great wr and a big help to JFF, but 72% of the passes were caught by others, and, most of those passes were right on the money.....oh, and I don't think Evans carried Johnny any of his 1410 rushing yards that year......
JFF completed 595 passes in his two years, 151 of those were to Evans, but that's only 25.4%....
But, hate if your gona hate.... No, you’re right. He was a once in a generation talent. 33% of his yards went to Evans. Evans average YPC almost doubled Manziels YPC. If Johnny was throwing something other than a screen or a quick slant, it was going to Evans and it was an ugly [censored] ball. Buy, fanboy if you’re gonna fanboy…. Looks like you didn't watch any games Johnny played in. Evans was great, don't know many great qb's that don't have a great wr. But in the heisman year, Swope caught only 10 less passes than Evans, and averaged only .8 yards less per catch. Also, Evans had the 5th best per catch average. And, of course yards per catch will be higher than yards per carry, that doesn't lessen the fact that it takes at least tow for the yards per catch to happen, but only one of them ran for 1410 yds. I know numbers probably don't matter to you, so just watch the game against ou where he kicked their butts, that should help you understand.

I dislike a&m because I think her uncle sucks at life. There are many reasons to hate A&M. I don't hate them. However, I do find it amusing when I'm with more than A&M grad in a social setting. Immediately they seem to have an ability to sniff each other out and they're in their own club the rest of the night. Happened one night in the Stockyards. This guy missed one that was in the bag to run down the street to some Aggie yelling contest.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

I knew one guy who bought a jet so he could fly from SA to College station. Took him 28 min. Sold another place in Caldwell to a a guy from SA just so he could be 30 min from Kyle field. It’s a tad strange for me, but I will say, I haven’t met a bad Aggie that I can think of ( Manziel not included )
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I have two Aggie neighbors.
Both good guys, one is super weird. Both said they never wanted to step foot back on campus. Have no desire to ever go back.

Watched it earlier, thought they sugar coated what all really was going on. Like what? Just curious. I watched it last night and thought it was good. I don’t blame him for being pissed that the school was making millions off him, and he got nothing. And when they sold autographs, I don’t think that was immoral either, they broke NCAA policy, not the law, and they didn’t cheat or anything like that, those buying the autographs were happy…So what he should have done is sign all those autographs graphs for free and filled the pockets of others even more? F that. I may change my mind on this, but that is how I currently fill about it.

I would have rather seen the uncut R version. I also think they toned it down. I bet he was unhinged, not just a hard party type.

Agree with being pissed about all of the $$$ the NCAA and Texas A&M made of him. What I was hoping that they would get into a lot more details about how much Coke & other substance JFF was doing and how often. How often he was with hookers and where, maybe even who provided them? I bet there is a whole lot more to JFF F Ups from Jr. High up to his getting right that could have been told.

Maybe they are saving that for part 2. I get the impression JFF would not sugar coat anything, because he does not care. Only 1 hour and 20 minutes…yeah they should have provided more detail as you say, made it a series and made more money.

My biggest complaint about the NCAA is that they didnt give a [censored] about student athletes only their bonuses. Employment restriction, unenforced of 20 hr rule etc. All BS

Her mom went to school with one of the Manziels, supposedly a lot of folks in Tyler thought they were in organized crime.

Stub watched it expecting a porn flick No not even close I have zero desire to see JFF or any other male doing the Hokey Pokey. A friend of mine passed away about 10 years ago, before he passed he asked me to get his porno CD's out of the attic and get rid of them. There was well over a 100 of them, I did not watch or keep any of them, gave them to a buddy who is in to that stuff.

Wasn't his grandfather or great grandfather originally from NYC with direct ties or alleged affiliations with the mob families before locating to Tyler, was that dug into in the documentary??

He is opening a bar in college station. Just more proof he hasn't turned anything around. He will be there hanging out with college girls doing the same thing he always has. Zebras usually don't change their stripes. I do laugh, all my Aggie friends claim AM is still the darling of Texas and the only bastion of conservatism left in college. They all fawned over that guy until the bad started then they all decided he was just one bad apple and gave their beloved University a bad name and didn't claim him anymore. I haven't watched it yet but will. One thing I can tell you is this is happening at every major university across this country with athletes. Has been for years and will continue to happen. Big reason I just don't watch or care anymore. They need to quit calling it amateur sports because is just isn't anymore and not sure it really ever was. Our society values someones talents on a field more than education. I genuinely believe this will be one of the many things that leads to our eventual downfall. Kids today think the only reason to go to college is to play sports so they can eventually be a pro. I live in a small town and work in the school and its amazing how many students and parents believe that.
