word is there have been 2 dead bodies in the Rio Grande. In or near the floating barrier. Sounds fishy to me.

The left will focus on that rather than the hundreds/thousands raped, murdered, or enslaved by the cartels or dying in the dessert. That makes the floating barrier inhumane ---
Total insanity.

My understanding is they believe that at least one drowned up river if not both and floated down river and were found in the buoys. Bodies in the Rio is NOTHING NEW but yes the left and Mexico will use this.

It's incredibly unlikely that they drowned there in the river. In all likelihood they drowned upstream and were simply caught in the barrier after drifting Downstream for a while. If memory serves me correctly the border between Texas and Mexico is just shy of 2,000 miles. I think these buoys are only staked out in 3/4 of a mile worth of that border.

The buoys are in waist deep water. If people have a hard time getting around a float in waist deep water with nothing underneath, then you need smarter people.
That barrier is nothing more than a political theater show costing mucho dineros for texans

There is a democrat involved somewhere.

When i saw them installing on tv, it looked like just some round floats. I hope they vetted the ability to deter people from going over or under. Seems way too simple but maybe its a lot harder than it looks

Only choice is to go around, which is tough due to current and the water getting deeper. Id be curious to find out if these crossings have seen decreased traffic, and by how much.

Only choice is to go around, which is tough due to current and the water getting deeper. Id be curious to find out if these crossings have seen decreased traffic, and by how much. They DO spin.....BUT unless the buoy is in water deep enough to require 'swimming' up to it...then the spin feature could actually help you get over it. A person (by themselves or assisted) only need to get up on top of the buoy (past the halfway point) and you would then ride it right over to the other side. There also a 'V' between each of two buoys which makes this even easier. The buoys are only 4' in diameter and stick down in the water (draft) about one foot. So only three feet sticks up above the waterline at the highest point on the buoy, less than that at the 'Vee' between two buoys Hell....I'm 68 years old and I'm pretty sure I could get over one. Now IF they are in Deep Water (I hope that is the case) I can see them being more of a challenge...but even then....just go out in a solid floating device. They would SLOW down crossings but not prevent them.
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

Some ya'll fell for the (Trumpster : they will pay for it. ) Any barrier has work arounds. I am all for barriers, I do not think people should be able to flood across our border, that is a direct issue with the constitution as the people in charge are not protecting our sovereign nation. I also realize practical and real challenges face our politicians every day and making a fool proof impenetrable barrier along the border is impossible. In short, that border should not be a wide open "come on in" as the obama and Biden admin have made it either.

And now the DOJ is threatening to sue Texas if Abbott doesn't remove those floating balls.
