Those of us that don't do Facebook are probably showing our age.

Indubitably, but I know for a fact that never having used it has saved me a ton of heartache and frustration. My kids keep me updated on anything notable going on with extended family, without me having to have any contact whatsoever with said extended family and that's the way I want it to stay!

In my experience, older people are more likely to be on it. FB is virtually not used by people 0-25 years of age.

Facebook is some what like YouTube. It has a bunch of private groups for those who do DIY projects. There was no way I could have replaced the rotten transom on my 2003 Lund if I wasn't a member of the Lund Restoration Group.

I hear Snapchat is where it's at. It's come back around and when you see a dumb teenager just smiling briefly at her phone or making some other deep body language statement, they're on Snapchat. No words, just a quick selfie. I'm terrified for my young grandchildren. Technology is dumbing us down for AI to eliminate us. Skynet is up and running.
