How effective are they on feral cats? That might be the limit depending on the size of the cat.

I have never killed animals for just the fun of it, I either eat them or done for depredation. Squirrels around the house are a nuisance. Yes I have a pellet gun with a scope.

Squirrels destroyed patio furniture cushions, irreparably damaged patio lighting, and found their way into my attic to make a mess. So, I bought a SIG MCX air rifle with a Romeo 5 red dot. It works well, so I'm feeling better. The exploding pellets in the video are made in .177 so I may get some for the MCX.
