If you don’t want another one just like the lost one, I’ve had a Benchmade Griptilian for 5 or 6 years, and I recommend it highly. Holds an edge and it’s easy to maintain the edge. Easy to open with one hand. Best folder I’ve ever had.

Spyderco, Benchmade, ZT, or one of the exotic designer models. I generally prefer Spyderco or ZT designs. G10 scales feel good in the hand but other materials are lighter. I prefer the more modern steels, but vg10 is inexpensive, easy to sharpen, and holds a respectable edge. I’m a sucker for latest and greatest, but any steel from a knowledgeable knifemaker is likely to perform well.

2nd the Griptilian however I carry the mini model. I have lost a couple and I replace with the same knife. Been my go to for many years.

I would order another Spyderco Endura in a second.....I looked around at many others. I settled on the Endura and never looked back. Lightweight, holds a great edge, has perfect blade shape and length, and feels great in the hand. For me, it is a no-brainer. I have a Benchmade H20 that I carry occasionally, but the Endura always seems to be the one that ends up clipped in my pocket.

I always thought the endura was a little big for me...I liked the delica better. Also really liked my paramilitary 2 if size doesn't bother ya
