Gentlemen I will be returning to Australia in September and want to bring my friend some good Texas/TexMex cook/recipe books as well as some good Texas made products.

If you know of any good cook books that I can still get a copy of by all means please share with me, also any Texas specific food that I can bring - Keep in mind that Australia customs is some of if not the strictest in the world so any kind of dried chilis or fresh/non sealed produce in not allowed.

Keep in mind, most American stuff is available in Australia but Mexican food/spices are fairly rare.

So far I've got....

Hot Sauce - Tabasco (scorpion pepper, habanero, Jalapeno & Chipotle; because they have regular Tabasco at every store) I also have chili garlic & green chili Cholula.
Hatch Green Chilis - I've got some of the small cans of diced hatch chilis
Tajin - the chili lime spice for fruit snacks

Any other ideas are welcome, especially if anyone has digital or other copies of family cook books or especially wild game recipes they would like to share.

I had a big one called Texas Eats (?) for a while, and enjoyed it. Liked all the old photos and side line comments and stories. Gave my copy to a friend in Hawaii, so I should get another, as I think it is still available on Amazon
