I was just considering setting up to load some ammo (I’m a bit bored), but realized I really didn’t need to. And looking on the shelves, it was obvious that my reload production is mostly 223. Way in favor of 223, with 6.5 Grendel in second place for now.

I’m thinking 223 might be number 1 for most of you guys, except for Chad and JG. Am I right?

Yes. I shoot 223 the most, fmj and soft points.

My number one is 243 right now followed by 223. Probably change once I get my 6CM up and running.

Mine short reloading career has been mostly the 308. Probably about 1200rds of 308 vs 4-500 of every other combined, most of these others have been 223. That said I just got some 6.5mm rifles and will probably put away the 308 for a little while. But guess what? I'll still be shooting and reloading the 223.

Historically was 270 win for me. Now is most likely 30-06. I don’t agree but have heard many say it’s not worth reloading 223 because it’s too cheap to buy etc. again I disagree but also know many feel that way.

Most "reloaded" caliber, hummm. I'd say probably 9mm. When guys reload a 9mm, they normally load thousands at a time. 223/5.56 is probably close to that also. I don't load 9mm (unless it's a special run) or much 223/5.56 full power loads. But one of my top sellers has always been the 223 Rem/5.56, 55 grain SP subsonic. That round is just freakin' awesome. It's super quiet in a 223 bolt gun, and works well in an AR platform (you just have to manually cycle the bolt).

I don't even own a 223...my most at this moment is 22 Gaymoor but will likely change to 30 Nosler and 300prc soon. Just depends on what rifle I am playing with at the time.

Historical there have been more 6br improved (6 dasher and 6brx) cases run through my press than any other and it's not even close.

Once I have the time (and that's just around the corner!) to go and just shoot to kill time, the plan is to wear out a current .223 barrel and then spin on another one I have waiting in the wings, but I think a lot of 10mm and .40 S&W cases are going to be hitting the ground too. These days I'm shooting more .260 than anything else.

300 Win Mag for me. 9mm would win if I reloaded it.

When I asked about the most reloaded, I was thinking rifle rounds. I do load a lot of 9mm and 38, but the 223 would still be number 1 for me (I think). When I do set up to load pistol rounds, I will run off hundreds though.

Toward the end of this month, I’ll have more visitors, all female. They are not gun people, but they want to learn to shoot. It’ll be mostly the 22 and 38, but the AR always draws them to it.

For myself .223 Rem and .223 A.I. Next is 7mm-08 and 7mm-08 A.I

For customers, it blows my mind the cartridge I've done load development and made ammo for the most.

.300 Win Mag. confused

My most reloaded caliber is an oddball. .357 mag. I have a Ruger 77/357 bolt action that I shoot suppressed with subsonic 180 gr pills. That gun is a hoot, and I go through a ton of ammo in it. Bullet drops like a rock after 100 yards, but it's still fun to ring steel out to 200...and it just so happens that I have a 200 yard range out at the ranch. 2nd most often reloaded is 300BLK. I converted all of my AR's to 300blk for hunting, and only have 1 .223 now, and it rarely gets shot. I don't reload 9mm as I don't see much savings with that one over buying factory. Others that I reload, .308, 6.5CM, .270, .45 colt, 45/70, just don't get shot as much as the .357 and 300blk. They're not much of a challenge at only 200 yards.

7-08 for me. This 6GT we got now is steadily replacing it though in terms of rounds loaded.

I was way wrong on my guess which rounds were most reloaded. And if a list was made, no way I’d have expected to see the 300 Win Mag on it. Interesting responses.

I load a lot of Creedmoor’s of 3 flavors but probably it’s 223/9mm as said above when I load them it’s 1000 at a time.

223 for me presently. I have mostly been loading small rifle primered rounds because small rifle primers are easy to come by. Recently loaded some 200 6MM Grendel and 150 6.5 Grendel.

I guess I'm the odd ball here. My most reloaded round for the last 10 years has been the 6.8 Rem SPC. I use it for all my rifle hunting and have about 7 rifles in that caliber.

Not so odd, as the 6.8 has become my go to deer & hog rifle in the last 6 years. I've gone through hundreds of .277 bullets looking for that ultimate load. It's a great round that out performs it's small size. BTW, I forgot to mention, my 6.8 is not an AR but a Ruger #2.

Right now it is .308 and 280. Later it will be 7-08 and 6.5 CM

I would guess 9X19 followed by .45 AUTO followed by .357 Magnum followed by .223 Remington.

The reloading niche is small on this forum. Pistol and revolver rounds are much more common "out there" in the reloading specific forums. I think most rifle reloaders make a few rounds of hunting ammo per year and hundreds/thousands of pistol rounds.

Pass the gravy.
