Anyone running a magnus? Really wanting to pull the trigger on a magnus cb, but hoping to get some feedback.

I’ve been around one at the range. It’s solid as is all the thunder beast stuff.

I have two TB cans, amongst quite a few. Their rifle suppressors are my favorite. Just be aware a 9" suppressor with 1.8" diameter is going to be huge hanging off the end of a rifle.

Yeah, i probably wouldnt hunt much with it...lol
I have a tbac dominus cb thats my main hunting can, but would use the magnus on certain hunting scenarios.

It’s awesome If you want quiet and don’t mind the size of it.

I have no problem with “oversized” cans. Thats the reason I want it is for maximum suppression.

What kind of feedback you want? Noise reduction, durability, accuracy, TBAC customer service?
Well, It’s great at all the above!

If you want a direct thread the DA Nomad L or LT is great for less money.
I have one of each.

I hunt with them all. Pretty sure 8” is the shortest suppressor I have.

I prioritize light and short, plus precision and not having to wear earplugs. I have an Ultra 5 and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Until a friend got a Dominus. Fatter and 1" longer, 1oz heavier. Which I could live with, because it's noticeably quieter. If you've already got a Dominus... as far as I'm concerned you've got the absolute pinnacle of design for a precision rifle can that's not a nuisance to hang on the end of your barrel and use in the field.

Scaling up to Magnus.... I bet it's stupid quiet. I personally wouldn't want to try and use it in the field. If you've got the money and the inclination, I doubt it would be a bad choice.

Ive got a nomad lt that i used on a 20" 6.5 cm bolt gun last year. Its stupid quiet and have read that it was the inspiration for the magnus. After getting the dominus, i was thoroughly impressed with everything about tbac. Dead Air seems to be a good quality product, but tbac is just better imo. Main thing im curious is if the magnus is indeed quiter than the nomad lt?
