About 10 years ago on here, there were a bunch of folks saying police officers don’t need military weapons like AR-15’s. 1. An Ar-15 is not a military weapon. 2. There may be a bunch of people out there saying Police don't need military weapons, but I don't recall many on here saying that. Oh there were quite a few on that bandwagon. They saw themselves out of here after they discovered their [censored] wasn’t tolerated here. They didn’t want police to do dynamic warrants, use military surplus APC’s, use anything more than a pistol… the list goes on. Yep. It was a good example of folks who were pushing strong opinions about something they didn’t actually know about. I remember it well.

I wasnt here for all of that, but I will say this is also a good example of when people say "YoU dOnT NeeD 30 rOund MagaZinEs" that they are wrong. Officer shot around 10 times or more. That is what happens in gunfights.

Damn good job by the Officer. His adrenaline was for sure maxed out during that event. Yes sir, the reason training is so important, he kept his composure and focus and kicked [censored], Reports said he was one of the officers that had ar training just for such incident. Seems it should be taught as curriculum in the academy. Officers is a beast!

That was a good hump to do with all of his gear and to be able to control his breathing and adrenaline to get the shot or shots that were needed. Good job officer.
