Dan,
duckhunter175 is active duty L.E. as well as Army Ranger Battalion.
You might want to pay attention to him.

I know I am late to the party. Besides a good retention holster, quality firearm and proper handing, one needs proper support. Sweats and basketball shorts will not support a pound and three quarters load. If you are not going wear a good belt, get a ladies revolver with holster for a man purse.
Just my opinion.
If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

I know our local HEB does not allow open carry. Possible that they had to leave the gun in the car and that is why it was out of the holster. Still doesn't excuse the poor handling that caused it to go off.
