https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/8866950/wyoming-draw#Post8866950Just a WT tag for me, and a doe in the LQ drawing. No pronghorn this year, spouse drew his though. We do get General deer tags so a muley and a WT this year, general elk tags and cow tags for both of us too. We could put 6 elk in the freezer, but never have. Most elk we've taken in a year is 4 I think, gave a lot of meat away that year and one traveled down to Texas. The state is as green as it ever has been right now. This summer would be a great year for a Wyoming vacation, camping wise that is. Fishing should be great all summer.

Drew one of the best units in the state for the second year in a row for bull elk. The plan this year is told hold out into December for a 330-40 or better. Can't believe I drew it! And a 47 buck antelope tag and a cow tag in the same unit my bull tag is in. Going to be a good year!

As of now I plan to spend a week of September, October, and maybe two weeks in Nov. I'm getting as much out of this hunt as I can.

Saw a flock of about 30 last year, and my buddy bagged a blue grouse with his long bow on the mountain. But I prefer to hunt birds with my brittanys, if they can avoid the hail Sharptails will probably be up this year.

Blue grouse have to be the best eating bird out there, sage grouse are for looking at. Sharptails would be fun!!

Going to honest, sage grouse ate one of my favorites. Got to cook the like a ribeye though, medium rare. I usually shoot two a year, more of a symbolic thing than anything
