As years go by it will become even more beautiful as it turns color. Very nice!

How was it treated to prevent cracking? Kiln dried? Stabilized?

It air-dried and there are/were cracks. They are filled with epoxy.

I’ve used it for knife handles. And, every time I say “never again”.

Quite lovely! Always wanted to try making a "snake" self-bow from bois d'arc.

Pretty wood but hard to work.
I used to make knobs for steering wheel spinners out of it.
But I spun it in my Metal lathe.

Great looking bowl!

I've never turned Bois d'arc. One of these days I'll have to give it a try.
