I've been looking for a griddle and waiting for a deal on a Blackstone, but happen to stumble upon this today. Did some research on it and read a bunch of reviews both on YouTube and customer reviews. Seems to be a good buy.

I just purchased one and should be here the 12th. We shall see!

$179 with free shipping for a 36" griddle is hard to beat.

Hope it is solid and last a long time for ya, I suggest you go inside SAMS check one out.

I had a big Members mark grill and it did not last long and getting parts was expensive and a major pain in the azz.
They have or had a warehouse for parts in Garland but will not allow you to go pick them up, everything is shipped.

Disclaimer I have not read the reviews or checked one out, again good luck.

Yea the one I posted is the newest version, the previous version (link below) has 4.6/5 star rating out of 3367 reviews. Most of the bad reviews are about the griddle itself warping when coming up to temperature, but that is due to them starting it and turning all burners full blast for preheating. The comparison reviews between Blackstone and this one on youtube seemed to lean towards the Sams version being better especially the grease catch and cleanup.

You do know that all of the good reviews are from SAMS/Walmart employees who are forced at the beginning of their shift every morning to get on a computer and write rave reviews about their companies products right? laugh

I was looking at the pictures and noticed that the grease drain hole is up front as is the drain catch pan, seems like that should work well with what you are doing.

Yes, that was one of the big things I was worried about how to get my drip pan from behind the Blackstone.

Well that was a dud... Got it in yesterday and started putting it together last night and pulled the burner part out of the box and the stainless on the front was beat all to hell and gas tubes were mangled. Will be going back to SAMs this evening for a return.

On side note, TSC has the blackstone 36" on sale for $299, which is where I'm going at lunch LOL.

36” Blackstone is $297 at Walmart with free delivery. I caught it on sale on their website about a month ago for $249.

This is the same unit I have had for a year and a half and I totally love it! I like the drain hole in the front and it cooks like a dream!! Good luck with yours and just take your time and season it correctly. That is the whole key cheers

x1,000,000

I probably over-seasoned mine (is that possible?) I love cooking on it. Fajitas to breakfast to hibachi. All good and fun.
