The queen is not happy about me using her bowels, but it’s worth the time.

Those case mouths DO look nicely cleaned up, but I'll just stick to my case trimmer. I doubt I would have the queen's cooperation.

I’m hoping spell check did that, but it could have been the 4 Shiners.

Why were any bowls brought into the mix?

I’m way behind the times on case trimming and mostly use a lee hand trimmer. I’ll sit on the couch with the family and trim/debur over a bowl.

That’s all well organized in the shop. I happened to be working at the kitchen table and didn’t want to go back out there for a loading block. Hence the bowl. She also didn’t like all the little brass shavings on her table.

Bout 60 yards. The wife was rattling on and the bowl was already on the table. It worked out fine.

I agree with your wife.

And go ahead and buy a Giraud trimmer.

Cool chit ain't cheap. You'll thank me later.

^^^ he's right, I hated trimming brass until I got one. If I was shopping today I'd throw the Henderson in the mix too.

Giraud, 50 pieces of brass, trimmed, chamfered, deburred, 4.5 minutes.

How long is it taking you?

Probably 3-4 times that long. Almost never have to do it though. Remember I’m not running a business just personal entertainment. I doubt I do 600 pieces a year.

Plus a piece every 5-6 seconds hardly leaves much time for inspection. Don’t forget I’m just just piddling over here. I’ve got time.

I got the Giraud first, just for my own ammo. But I shot my own ammo a whole lot of rounds per year.

Manual trimmer, hand held chamfer/debur tool, 50 brass took me 45 minutes. So, the Giraud trimmer sped up the task 10X.
