That’s actually not true.

He is partially true. If he is walking down the street and a cop asks for ID, he doesn’t have to produce unless he is suspected of a crime.

There is no requirement in Texas, for a person to have or ever have a state issued identification card of any kind, unless the person is engaged in activities where one is required such as driving or having a LTC and a firearm. The requirement you guys are talking about such as Fail to ID, Fail to ID Witness ect ect merely states that the person identifies themselves. Verbally, sign language, written on a cocktail napkin all work. There is no requirement to ever have state issued ID. I've met people in their 70's who have never had one and it's perfectly legal.

Clarify please. So if a a person doesn't have a LTC and carries it legal? But a LTC holder has to have their LTC on them if they carry?

When I lived there, it was the opening day of dove season that put them into a full blown panic attack. Probably don't have any open areas left in Frisco to hunt dove anymore.

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.
