You probably know this, but they are rare. I vaguely remember seeing a heavy barrel 700 in 6mm Rem on here a few weeks ago. How about a Ruger?

I checked the one at Webbers in Temple today. It’s a 6mm but it’s a Remington 788 in left hand.

Also I have a 6mm rem 788.
Mike 940-452-2872 Thats a new one on me. Never seen one. I have a 40x 6mm with Hart Stainless barrel. Also have a couple Varmint Specials in 6mm. One of my favorite cartridges.

Same here, have never seen one and didn't realize Remington made anything stainless back then. Would you able to post pics? My favorite caliber. The ADL's seem to be the most common of the 700's. I'm surprised one hasn't come along yet.

Remington did make the early 7mags and 264s first few years with stainless/ blued barrels. Very good shooters.
