Last night in Vegas for the big expo so decided to escape a bit. Followed this with a wedge salad and ribeye. Ruth’s Cris is not my favorite but it worked. Sometimes I’ll choose a Bombay Sapphire Martini instead of Grey Goose depending on what flavor profile I want for the experience.

What is your preferred martini?

These are not the girlie kind from Bennigans or Applebees.

I need a pro Martini maker to make one for me to try. So far, it isn’t my drink of choice.

I'd try that.

I require 3 olives.

Shaken or stirred?

Shaken because I like releasing the Vermouth aromatics. Done properly they pour off the Vermouth after swirling then add vodka and shake.

Think Bennigans is dead.

The reference was deliberate for fun.

The wife and I are of the opinion that a medium dirty Grey Goose martini is the absolute best, particularly with any of our favorite meals.

Half vodka of choice, half gin. 3 olives. Water on the side no ice, and keep your straw!!

Goose martini. Up. Blue cheese olives. Extra dirty.
The nicer the steakhouse, the better it is.

Either a Grey Goose or Chopin martini for me.

Never tried one. Mostly Old Fashioneds, Whiskey Sours, and Bloody Marys.

I like either a Tanqueray dirty martini with feta olives, or Aviation Churchill dry and shaken.

I prefer a gin Gibson over a martini.

Dang you now I’m stopping at the liquor store on the way home from DFW. Those are good!
