Shot through two boxes of shells but got it done. Wasn't shooting to bueno.

Got 5. I was actually pretty happy with that. Maybe because last year I only saw 5.

Didn't hunt this morning because my milo hasn't been harvested, went out this afternoon and hunted a wide turning row between to fields

Got my limit this afternoon. My cousin was with me and he got his.

Damn fine start gentlemen.

I hunted for 2 hours tonight and got 13 birds. My dogs first time out since being out of gun school. He did amazing.

That's great Frisbie! Good looking dog too.... I like those lean ones.

Saw maybe 5 birds total, hit the only 1 in range. My dog got bored and went back to the house without me. South of
Midlothian is sparse.

me and my BIL went out this evening, i got 8, he got 11, in about 3 hrs......... if we didnt suck we would have both limited out.. within 60 yards of my house

Or maybe it's because you SUCK and your dog knows it!!! You must not have been using that Benelli. I happen to know for a fact that all you have to do is point it straight up and pull the trigger. SOMETHIN will fall!!!

I didn't see that many today either, but I guess that's a good thing...Look at all the money I saved on shotgun shells.

I ended up with 10 and my nephew Homerunslayer07 got 15. I had 7 birds before he bagged his first then he took over. Had a great time

Worst hunt I have ever had out at our lease. Shot 3 birds and saw very few.

30 minutes... 1 shot 1 bird! gotta call... back to work!

Skunked. Only had two hours before I had to drive to the valley. I may have seen a dozen birds in the two hours I was out in the field this morning, and only a couple were in range.

I saw a couple hundred on the drive between McKinney and Brownsville.

Hopefully I'll see a few more when I go back out on Thursday.

Easy stuff

took way too many shots, but got it done in about an hour and a half this morning

Got a limit of 15 in 1 hour 15 minutes. Killed my first targeted bird of the year for the fourth year in a row. Ended up 6 for my last 6 to finish out the limit. 25 shots total. By far the best I've ever done from a percentage standpoint. Took my 5 and 4 year old boys to bird dog, and let them shoot the shotgun into the tank one time each. That's about as good as it gets, IMO.

We had a decent hunt in Greenville. 2 really stupid guys moved to the middle of the field about 100 yards from us and sat down. Made it a little difficult to take clean shots.

We hunted an area on the Public Permit this morning and afternoon. We were scratching our heads because when we scouted it this last weekend there were tons of birds but today they were just thin. Didn't see any big groups like we did earlier...Mike said he thought the doves must have bought a TPWD calendar!! LOL!! Mike shot 5 and I shot 4..but hey the good news is that I was 4 and 9 for the day. So got some birds and didn't burn a lot of shells!!

I need to get used to this damn O/U 12ga. I got my limit but it took three boxes. Birds were flying like crazy, shoulder is going to hurt like hell in the morning at work.
