This should put the topic to rest and be placed as a sticky!

Did you shoot it cuz you were mad or because there were so many birds flying that you couldn't avoid it.

This morning saw a lot of high fliers, but the lower birds definitely like it.

MOJO works if your hunting podner remembers to check the charge status of the battery before coming to the field.
He said, "I charged it 24hrs!", Bad Battery, he failed to check it before making the trip. Didn't matter....
Maybe saw 12 Dove this morning...Didn't hear 25-30 shots in the distance either.

I was so fixed on the bird flying in I never really saw it until right when I squeezed.

I still think Mojo's will be the factor that one day will reduce our bag limits to 10 because the population will decrease so much grin

The good thing is, when my son gets out of school this afternoon I can set em up all again and watch him blast away since I have my limit. I hope he gets a few! He's been working real hard on clays with his .410

Hey, i got one that looks like that. My son shot it last year, when a bird flew in to close.

Yes they do work!

Yeah they work. Not many dove in sight, but the ones that were close banked hard and started to land before the crew began pounding 'em. We even had 2 hawks swoop at ours this morning.

Mine is shiny and new because I just bought it. I'll try to shoot mine this afternoon since all the cool kids are doing it and i am highly susceptible to peer pressure.

+100000000000, still won't buy one until I see it work. The crew I hunt with will come over and shoot it and never let me hear the end of it.

If you do, you will never hunt without one again. The duck seem to have caught on to them, but the dove are not as smart. They will head right for it like they are in some kind of a tractor beam.

Yep, I just bought two this year, and they definitely work. I think decoys for doves is pretty stupid, but the mojos work.

The caveat is that the doves must be flying nearby to come in. The doves out 1,000 yards away won't come in. But any flying within 100-150 yards definitely swung by to land.

That is exactly why I bought mine - to get close passing birds to give it a look. Glad to hear that's how it works best.

as I recall, Duck's get real stupid around a mojo before the first split, but it seems the later the season, the less ducks care about a mojo.. sometimes they even get spooked by them.
