Might have something to do with the "new" ordinance where you have to be so far from a dwelling...???????

Just a thought...

Wonder how many got a ticket this morning???

I could probably be coaxed out of a testicle in exchange for a hunt at the Frisco Horse Park. The north end of their property is luh-ho-ded with birds.

Threecurl: you can hunt at Frisco Horse Park. It's $100/day or $600 for the season. Kind of pricey, but if there are birds...

I hunted up near Pilot Point this morning, and it was slow. Steady stream of birds, but not what I'd call "hot". I wonder if the cool weather is affecting their movement, or if they got pushed south?

Can you really get a $100/day pass at Frisco Horse park? I stopped by there last yr and they wanted to sell me a $1500 membership to dove hunt. Can't/wont do that but might welch $100 bet for tomorrow night if I heard a good report.

I live right next to the horse park. It would be great to hunt there but I'm not going to spend that money to miss a bunch of birds!

Plano sucked as well this evening got 13 between 4 of us. Lots of police patrolling talked to couple of officers and they said they had been pretty busy all day. I wish all these people who call and complain about gun shots would get a life.

Everyone I know hit limits, except me. The field I hunted in had very few birds flying, but good lord, the amount of fahtard trespassers amazes me! We had no trespassing signs up and people still ignored them! Even tried to make up the fact that they had permission. It amazes me how entitled people feel....had one guy try to tell me we were selfish......just unfeckinbelievable how many people just roll into a posted field like they own it...almost sad really

That's a bit extreme. I'll bet Lance Armstrong would disagree with you on that one.

My buddies limited in Frisco yesterday.

I don't, I'm just doing the footwork and playing devil's advocate for the guy that does.

There is a field just down the road from my house that used to be on the public dove list. It was only on the list for one year but it was loaded with hunters every year for about 4 or 5 afterwards. Before the public lease it was never hunted.

Hunted at the Frisco Horse Park today and it was awesome! Just glad I dont have to pay the 100 bucks! Easy limits for sure, and the dove are still dropping in to the mojos like its magnetic! Almost everybody was using them and they would get shot at over one set and go to the next! It was Crazy!
