 Lost drone in Lake Granbury

Bought another dji drone..a mini 3 to replace my mini 2..first flight..had great signal..but somehow there was a kink in the software...it would not return home as I was hovering about 400 feet above lake granbury...battery finally gave out and it crashed into the lake..This is the first issue I've had with a dji drone..well good thing i took out the insurance on this one..put in a claim and in 7 days I had a brand new drone..no issues with this one..Flys like a ..well a drone is supposed to.. customer service is very good

Happened on a sunday..and it fell into the lake..i.saw it on video as it splashed in the water

I had a kite break loose yesterday in all that wind. It may be in Grandbury too.

It is due to the receptors not reading a "solid surface". Not a good idea to fly over water. I had a DJI professional 3 and was always scared of this aspect,

Uea..I'm back flying a mini3 pro..definitely get the refresh replacement deal..was back up and flying a new in that dji replaced in a week..
