Daniel, the owner of Lewisville Pawn was shot and killed this morning in what appears to be a robbery attempt. I’ve used LVP for nearly ten years. And I’m sure many THF members in DFW may have as well. Daniel was a solid human being for sure.

Here’s the news link I found.

https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/l...287-a5467541-4d17-4e4e-8b28-8fd09e40f66d

This may not be the best spot to post but I thought I would at least try to share this horrible news in the case others were interested.

How awful. I have used him for years, as well. Good dude and will be sorely missed.

Sad deal for sure. Hope they pay with their lives, all three of them.

Thank you Billy. This is truly heartbreaking. Daniel was such an amazing person in my interactions with him. Very classy very warm. Always friendly. My sincere prayers go out to him and his family. My next round of prayers are for thorough justice to be served.

Damn. Between McBride's in Denton, Nix's behind what used to be Texas Commerce Bank off Main Street and Lewisville Pawn they got all of my money in my twenties. Haven't been in there in 30 years but I remember the owner and outside of being a pawnbroker I couldn't really say anything bad about him.

I've been using Daniel for transfers for almost 20 years. I hope those 3 sorry excuses of flesh get what's coming to them.

What a tragedy. Prayers up for his family and friends.

Best wishes to local law enforcement in bringing the perpetrators to justice. I wonder if the old saying, "You might beat the rap, but you won't beat the ride" might be used to advantage here...

Dirt bags. I'm betting on a quick arrest. No way three idiots can keep their mouths shut very long. Definitely an old school pawn shop that I went in from time to time. To those that knew him, I'm sorry.

I’ve done many of transfers with Daniel as well, just shocked about this and that someone could do that. Almost unreal and will miss shooting the breeze with him

The last armed robbery with a shooting that I remember from Lewisville was committed by some teenagers at a Town and Country Convenience Store. All three involved received a 45-year sentence and coincidentally all three were released recently. If one of the people there was a 6 ft 4 black guy it might be one of the former want to be gangster killers.

Just waiting on the Alter Boy pictures. Next thing we will hear is what a fine person JaTevon Marquise is and how bright a future he had.
